At halftime of the Poly/Jordan football game in 2009, something magical happened. Poly alum (and former Dallas Cowboy) Tony Hill presented principal Shawn Ashley with a check for $10,000, officially creating the Bernice and Leroy Hill Academic Athlete Fund.

The fund, in honor of Hill's mother and father, is the beginning of a line of scholarships generated by the community, for the community to help alleviate the financial burden college presents for so many students. 

Now a 501(c)(3) foundation, while the fund was initially created largely through a personal donation from Tony Hill, it cannot survive without you. Check out some testimonials from previous recipients here.

There are a variety of ways you can contribute to the success of the students of Poly High, and contributing to the Bernice and Leroy Hill Academic Athlete Scholarship Fund is one of those ways.
